Dugald Stewart Monument

The Dugald Stewart Monument is one of the most recognisable landmarks on the Edinburgh skyline. It is one of several monuments located on Calton Hill, in the Greek Revival style for which Edinburgh is renowned.

The monument is considered a particularly high quality example of the work of William Henry Playfair, a  highly regarded Scottish architect of the nineteenth century.

The model pictured here is 1:87 scale and stands almost 19cm tall

Bandstand kit

This is an updated version of my bandstand model. It is a kit made up of two white and three black parts. The model includes details from the original bandstand that did not feature on the previous model.

The model comes in 1:87 and 1:76 scales.

The roof has been re-modelled to be a little more squat and the whole bandstand widened slightly to better resemble the original. The roof also includes many of the new details including a re-modelled pinnacle and ceiling rose in black.

The railings have also been re-modelled to include more detail.
